ProAlpine Overview

ProAlpine is a Snow Foam that is an essential part of the pre-wash process, enabling heavy, gritty particulate grime to be removed without contacting the vehicle.

Applied using a pressure washer or foam gun, ProAlpine encapsulates the entire vehicle exterior with a glorious foam blanket, working its way into panel gaps and shuts to ensure no surfaces are missed.

ProAlpine clings to paintwork, safely trapping particles while gently loosening and lifting dirt and contaminants. It consequently reduces the risk of scratches and swirl marks caused by abrasion from wash mitts or sponges when agitating heavy contamination on paintwork.

With its high pH formulation, ProAlpine is highly effective at removing oil, grease, road film and contaminants from vehicle surfaces and will not cause LSP degradation when used with the recommended dilutions.

Available in both a 1 litre bottle or a 5 litres jerry can.

How To Use

  1. Complete the preliminary prewash process with either CitraCleanse, NeutralXTFR or PowerXTFR.
  2. Ensure both bodywork and wheels are cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight.
  3. Dilute ProAlpine in a snow foam bottle according to foam density:
    • Thick foam: 1 part ProAlpine to 10 parts water
    • Thinner foam: 1 part ProAlpine to 20 parts water
  4. Using a snow foam lance like FoamXCannon, apply ProAlpine from the bottom up, covering all exterior surfaces including glass and wheels.
  5. Leave ProAlpine to dwell for approximately 5–8 minutes. Do not allow it to dry.
  6. Rinse thoroughly from the bottom up using a pressure washer.

⚠️ Please note: ProAlpine is not suitable for use on soft top convertibles.

FAQ

Q: Do I need to use a foam lance with ProAlpine?

A: For the best results we recommend using a snow foam lance such as the FoamXCannon.. While you can use syphon-based detergent dispensers which are typically supplied with pressure washers, foam lances are more effective. This is because they are designed specifically to mix the solution to a foam and activate the cleaning agents.

Q: What is LSP degradation?

A: LSP degradation refers to the breakdown or wearing away of a Last Step Product (LSP), which is the final protective layer applied to a vehicle's surface during detailing. ProAlpine will not cause LSP degradation and can be used for heavy soiling on a ceramic coated / wax protected vehicle. For regular maintenance washes of protected vehicles we would recommend ProSno.

Q: What's the difference between ProSno and ProAlpine Snow Foam?

A: The main difference is the formulation. ProAlpine has a high pH formulation while ProSno has a pH neutral formulation. This makes ProSno ideal for regular maintenance washes that have an existing wax, sealant, or ceramic coating. ProAlpine on the other hand is a more aggressive solution for a tougher pre-wash cleaning process. This makes it ideal for cutting through heavier contamination, grime and traffic film. While it is safe to use on vehicles with existing coatings of protection, it is not recommended for protected vehicles on a regular basis.
