Note: AquaVeil is not suitable for wrapped or matt surfaces.
Important: Do not use on warm surfaces or in direct sunlight. Do not allow to dry on the surface, as marking may occur. Not suitable for wrapped or matt finishes.
A: We recommend leaving AquaVeil for at least 24 hours after application before washing for the first time.
A: The answer depends on the required durability and hydrophobic performance. Both solutions have been developed for the quick application of a glossy hydrophobic layer. The difference is that CarnaubaMist is a wax based formula that is designed to provide 6-8 weeks of protection while AquaVeil is a ceramic infused coating that can provide up to 3 months of protection.
Additionally CarnaubaMist can be used on Matt and wrapped finishes where as AquaVeil is not suitable for these surfaces.
A: NanoCoat is a spray sealant, not a ceramic coating while AquaVeil is a ceramic coating. However, both share similar benefits like hydrophobicity, gloss enhancement and surface slickness, without the complex application or curing time.
The main difference between the two is that NanoCoat can be applied to all surfaces such as paintwork, glass, alloys and plastics making it a comprehensive solution for hydrophobicity on your vehicle.
AquaVeil on the other hand is specifically for paintwork application and consequently has a stronger chemical bond to the surface with more resistance to chemicals and UV. This also gives it a slightly harder glass-like finish.
A: As AquaVeil is a ceramic infused spray designed for quick application, the maximum protection it will provide is 3 months. For a longer lasting protective layer we recommend using our 1 year protection kit GrapheneX1 or our 3 year protection kit CeramiX3. For the ultimate 5 year protection we offer the CeramiX5 kit.
