DualGuard - Dual Grit Protection

DualGuard is the ultimate combination for reducing the risk of swirl marks and scratches on to your vehicle. The unique combination of the grit guard and dirt trap not only traps dirt and debris at the bottom of your bucket but also ensures removed dirt stays there.

DualGuard enables the dirt trap and grit guard to work in unison and consequently combine the best of both worlds while eliminating the weaknesses of both individual solutions. The dirt trap uses its ~300 cyclonic funnels to act as a one-way valve that catches and pushes dirty wash water underneath its guard, consequently trapping the dirt and ensuring removed dirt does not make its way back onto your car. This counters the weakness of a grit guard which cannot as effectively prevent dirt in wash water swirling up back on to the wash mitt. In contrast, the grit guard which is placed above the dirt trap is used to wipe the dirt off the mitt and under the guard by utilizing its abrasive surface and ~200 individual segments. This negates the weakness of the dirt trap which has a smooth surface and is not as effective in wiping dirt off the mitt.

The result is a solution that allows you to effectively wipe the dirt from your wash mitt while ensuring the removed dirt remains trapped at the bottom of the bucket and away from your vehicle. Made of durable HDPE, DualGuard is a long-lasting solution that resists wear and tear and with its 26cm diameter fits snugly into most standard 3.5 – 5 Gallon wash buckets.
