The ANCEL VD700 is an upgraded version of the ANCEL VD500 OBD-II scanner. It is specifically designed for Volkswagen Group vehicles (VW, Audi, Skoda, and Seat). The VD700 offers comprehensive system diagnostics and special functions for VAG vehicles. For non-VAG vehicles with a 16-pin OBD port (sold in the U.S. after 1996), it can only diagnose the engine system and OBD II's six standard modes.

Key Features

The VD700 can perform full-system diagnostics for Volkswagen Group cars. It reads live data streams and retrieves VIN information. Supported systems include engine, automatic transmission, ABS, HVAC, central electronics, airbags, steering wheel, instrument cluster, immobilizer, navigation, radio, diesel pump, electric drive, battery regulation and charging, parking brake, steering angle, suspension control, sound system, chassis control, TPMS, active steering, door electronics, sliding doors, automatic lighting, air conditioning clutch, and more.

In addition to full diagnostics, the VD700 supports advanced special functions for VAG vehicles. These include throttle position adaptation to reset TPS sensors and resolve idle or performance issues, brake pad reset after replacement, TPMS reset to clear warnings after tire changes, forced DPF regeneration to resolve clogging issues, injector coding after replacement, steering angle sensor calibration, and airbag reset to clear SRS codes and warning lights.

For VW commercial vans and light trucks it supports Caddy (up to 2018), Caddy Pickup (up to 2002), Crafter (2006–2017), Crafter NF (2017–2018), Transporter (2003–2018), Amarok (2010–2018), Multivan (2003–2009), and TGE (2017–2018).

For Bentley it supports Continental (2004–2019), Continental GT (2012–2018), Continental Supersports and Convertible (2012–2018), Flying Spur and Flying Spur Speed (2012–2019), Bentayga (2016–2019), Mulsanne (2011–2019), Brooklands (2009–2010), and Azure (2000–2010).

For Lamborghini it supports Urus (2018–2019), Gallardo (2008–2014), Gallardo NF / Huracan (2014–2018), and Aventador (2012–2018).
