A: No. CeramiXPad is a ceramic coating applicator. This means that it has an advanced hydrophobic layer in the centre which prevents ceramic or graphene coating liquids from soaking through to the sponge core. This is a vital requirement for the ceramic / graphene coating process to ensure maximum application and bonding to the vehicle's surface.

A: The CeramiXPad ceramic coating applicator offers several practical and performance advantages over the traditional suede and sponge block method, especially in terms of product efficiency, control, and consistency.

Firstly CeramiXPad helps to minimise coating waste. It prevents the coating from soaking into the pad, meaning more product stays on the surface where it’s needed. This is critical when using expensive coatings where every drop counts. It also provides a better and more even spread of the coating and consequently reduces the chance of high spots. CeramiXPad is also designed to be ergonomically better as its shaped and contoured to fit in your hand. Lastly CeramiXPad offers a far easier user experience when applying coatings. There is no fiddling with loose suede cloths or having to worry about block-swapping during the process.

A: All of our ceramic and graphene coating kits include the relevant pads and applicators. GrapheneX1 includes 2 x CeramiXPad applicators. This is sufficient for the single application of most vehicles.

A: While the dual microfibre layer of CeramiXPad can be used for polishing, they are specifically designed for ceramic / graphene coating application. For a polishing pad we recommend using DiscOPad.
