FAQ

Q: Does AlloyPristine contain acid?

A: No there is no acid in Car Dynamics' AlloyPristine wheel cleaner gel. The solution is alkaline based making it safe for factory finish wheels.

Q: How long should I leave AlloyPristine on the wheel for it to work?

A: Allow Alloy Pristine to dwell for 2-3 minutes and no longer than 3 minutes. Ensure you rinse off straight away and don't allow it to dry on the surface.

Q: Will AlloyPristine damage or remove my wheel's ceramic coating?

A: Possibly if used regularly on a ceramic coated wheel. AlloyPristine is made of an alkaline formulation which with prolonged use on a ceramic coating can potentially degrade its hydrophobic layer over time. For ceramic coated wheels we recommend IronXtract which is our pH balanced wheel cleaning solution.

Q: Can AlloyPristine damage my wheels?

A: If AlloyPristine is left to dry on your wheels, or is left to dwell for more than 3 minutes then yes there is a risk damage can be caused. This is because the longer the chemicals are left on the wheel surface the more concentrated they become. Hence we recommend using AlloyPristine only on factory finished alloys, on a cool surface and with a maximum dwell time of 3 minutes.

Q: Do I need to dilute the AlloyPristine solution?

A: No, AlloyPristine comes in a ready to use spray bottle.
